Right then, here's all the nitty gritty and legal stuff.

All orders are dispatched within 48 hours and as we use Royal Mail, your order should arrive within 3-5 days for most UK addresses. If you are purchasing from overseas then Royal Mail advertise that they will endevour to deliver items worldwide within 3-5 working days.

Postage and packing is charged at the following rates:

£2.95 flat fee for all orders no matter how many items you order.

If for any reason an item is out of stock, we will contact you with an estimated delivery date and also give you the chance to amend or cancel your order. All colours are reproduced as accurately as possible but please remember that the actual colour may vary from what you see on screen. All weights, sizes and dimensions are intended as a guide only.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 17.5%. If you are purchasing from overseas, please select Paypal at the checkout as this a quick and easy way to process orders in other currencies.

You can shop with confidence as all our transactions are conducted on a fully encrypted 128 bit secure socket layer. It sounds complicated and it is - that's why it's nice and secure. The security shows itself in two ways – the first being a locked padlock symbol normally at the bottom of the screen and secondly the web address should change to https://. We use Paypal to process your payments which increases your security as no card details are held on our site or indeed seen by anyone at The Magpie Store. This shows itself as a Paypal tab which will appear when you enter your card details.

We do not disclose your information to any third parties. Information is only used to take and fulfil your order and administer our site and services. We hate junk mail ourselves so we won't create any more.

When you have completed your order we will send you an email confirming the details of your order. Your order represents an offer by you to purchase from us. Please check your confirmation email as soon as you can and notify us immediately if you notice any errors. When your goods have been dispatched you will be sent another email to confirm this. It is only at this stage that we accept your offer and a contract is formed. The reason we include this term is in case we have inadvertently made a mistake in under/overpricing an item. We will of course contact you with the correct price if an error has been made and give you the chance to amend or cancel your order.

In the unlikely event that you receive damaged goods please contact us immediately to arrange the returning of the item(s) and a refund. If your goods are not damaged but you are unhappy with your order you can return it to us, unused and in it's original packaging within 14 days for a refund. Again, please contact us a soon as you can to arrange this. Please remember that return postage is at the cost of the purchaser unless items are faulty or damaged. We strongly recommend that you use recorded post and that the item is insured for it's full replacement value. We cannot process any refunds if we have not received the items back.

All purchases are governed by English Law and your statutory rights are not affected. In addition, customers from the European Union are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
