Once upon a time........

....... a rather fabulous thirty something woman decided enough was enough. She had to be true to herself and fulfil the dream of starting her own business.

Everyone kept asking me "where did you get that necklace?" or "I love your scarf - where did you get that from?" I decided that if people liked what I bought then why on earth didn't I give them an opportunity to buy it as well.

The Magpie Store was born.

A lot of head scratching, timewasting and faffing about followed but finally things started to take shape. The dream was to provide other women with a website that answered all of their reasons to shop. Whether it was a birthday, wedding, christening, colleagues leaving present, Christmas or even just to treat themselves.
